Zoe Saldana was born in New Jersey and grew up in Queens, New York. When she was 10, she and his family moved to the Dominican Republic where they live for the next 7 years. While living in the Dominican Republic Zoe discovers a keen interest in dance and performance began her training at the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy of Dance where she taught ballet and other dance forms.
