Orlando Bloom Spills 'Pirates' Beans
As the header suggests this is a spoiler article so read on with caution as Orlando Bloom spilled some Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest spoilers and Digital Spy brings them to us.

"They've come up with something bigger and better for the next two movies," Bloom told Radio 1. "They had to top the skeletal pirate thing and I think they've really managed it, haven't they?"
He continued: "There's this sequence with a Kracken - it's a big squid - and some other things...oh, was that too much information?!"
Co-star Keira Knightley added: "I have a sword fight with two swords, which has been the biggest challenge, but also the thing that I'm most excited about because it's fantastic. I was well impressed!" Source: Digital Spy

 Keira Knightley Gets Attacked By Invisible Monster?For those of you that don't like spoilers of any sort turn your head now, but for the rest of you, check out the snippet below that comes courtesy of MTV.com.
"I had my first day back [recently], because we had a little bit of a break over the summer. My first day back was being dragged across the deck by an invisible giant squid, invisible because it's being put in by CGI afterwards," Knightley giggled. "So I just spent the entire time pretending that it was tentacles everywhere, and the director was running around going, 'I'm a tentacle, I'm a tentacle.' It takes a little bit of an imagination; I have no idea what it's going to look like, but hopefully it'll be cool."
For the stunt work, the actress "had a harness on, and a line running down my leg and coming out the bottom of my boot, and it was on a machine. They cranked the machine and it would just whip me over the floor, it was wicked." The fully-realized beast will attack Knightley as she rides on an ocean vessel in one of the "Pirates" films, due in theaters in the next few years. ...

Pirates Sequel Poster in Theaters
Walt Disney Pictures has distributed this first Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest teaser poster to theaters. The highly-anticipated first of two sequels, directed by Gore Verbinski, hits theaters on July 7, 2006.
This time around, Johnny Depp returns as Captain Jack Sparrow and is caught in yet another tangled web of supernatural intrigue. It turns out, Captain Jack owes a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, ruler of the ocean depths and captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. If Jack can't figure a crafty way out of this one, he'll be cursed to an afterlife of eternal servitude and damnation. And as if that weren't enough, Captain Jack's problems throw a huge wrench into the wedding plans of the blissful Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), who quickly find themselves thrust into Jack's misadventures.  Sequel Title Officially Announced: Dead Man's ChestDetails regarding the sequels to "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl" were revealed at Walt Disney Investor Conference Studio Presentation on Monday.
"Pirates of the Caribbean 2" will hit theaters summer of 2006, with the second movie following in the summer of 2007.
As reported on M&C the second installment will be called "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."

 Two sequels at the same time with Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando BloomJerry Bruckheimer revealed plans for not one, but two sequels to Pirates of the Caribbean. “We made a deal with Gore [Verbinski] to do 2 and 3. We made a deal with [Ted] Elliot and [Terry] Rossio who rewrote the first film. They did an outline for 2 and 3. They're writing number 2 right now and we're negotiating with all the actors.”
Bruckheimer plans to shoot the two Pirates sequels simultaneously (“That's the plan. It could change, but that's the plan.”) and have the story continue between the two sequels. “It will be continuing, but you'll definitely have an end at the end of two. The story will pick up again in three.”
Though they are negotiating, Bruckheimer is confident that the lead actors will return. “Johnny [Depp]'s really excited about doing it. You can ask Keira [Knightley]. I think she's excited about doing it and we'd love to have Orlando [Bloom] back. He's told Gore he wants to do it. So it comes down to if you can financially afford them because they've all become bigger stars than they were when we first started three years ago.”
And Geoffrey Rush? “That's going to be a secret. I'm not going tell you, but we have plans.”
Bruckheimer also hinted that the adventure could expand beyond the Caribbean. “It'll still be the Caribbean and we might go to Thailand, to the far east.”
For her part, Knightley had not heard the plans to do two sequels at once. “Really?” she asked. “There you go. That will be exciting. I hadn't heard any total confirmation. You've got more information than I have.”
Still, Knightley confirmed interest. “I think we all had such a fantastic time in the first one and I think everybody's desperate to do the second. And I know that the writers are writing away on it so it will be fabulous.”

 Orlando Bloom Excited About Pirates SequelJanuary 6, 2004 - Orlando Bloom told Teen Hollywood that he is excited to film the sequel to the hit Pirates of the Caribbean. Why? To get away from England's (his native land) weather:
"I can't cope with short, cold days. In England it gets dark early, so I prefer summer," he says. "I'll be heading back to Caribbean to film with Johnny Depp soon, which is cool. I have no complaints about working in the Caribbean!"
"On the first film they took me out there early and I didn't start shooting my scenes for a while, so I felt like I was on holiday," adds Bloom.

Verbinski will direct Pirates 2
October 15, 2003 - Variety reports that Gore Verbinski, the director of Pirates of the Caribbean, has agreed to direct the sequel. No start date for the production has been set.
