Oral Fixation Vol. 2 is Shakira's second English language album and is the English follow-up to Fijación Oral Vol. 1 which was released June 7, 2005. Oral Fixation Vol. 2 was released on November 29, 2005.
Written and produced by Shakira - with longtime collaborators Gustavo Cerati, Lester Mendez, Luis Ochoa, Tim Mitchell and Brendan Buckley - Oral Fixation 2 finds Shakira at an all time creative high.
Over the last two years, Shakira penned over sixty new songs; ten critically acclaimed Spanish songs comprise on Fijación Oral Vol. 1 (which has already sold 4 million copies over the world so far) and a batch of new English songs now make up Oral Fixation 2. Oral Fixation Volume 2 have the colaboration of: Gustavo Cerati; Carlos Santana and Wyclef Jean on the new edition.
"The Day and the Time" is the English version of "Dia Especial" and "Something" is the English version of "En Tus Pupilas", both from Fijación Oral Vol. 1
